Earlier this week we reported that Ian Berry, the driving force behind Forge Engineering’s bike parts wing, was leaving the company to move to sunny Brighton, and that as a result Forge-MTB would be no more.

Well, it’s all change. Nearly all, anyway. Forge Engineering have offered Ian a new post, so although he’s still moving south, Forge-MTB will carry on.

The immediate implication of this is that the 50%-off closing-down sale is extended to the end of trading tomorrow (that’s Friday, diary fans). And then everything’ll be 15% cheaper after that.

Look out for new products and amended prices on www.forge-mtb.com soon. Obviously with the MTB side having been wound down, the stock situation is likely to be a little patchy for a time so be patient…
