Some good news at last for mountain bike riders who have been unable to race so far this season because of national and regional foot and mouth restrictions.

The Eastern Region Velo cycling club is to stage a summer evening cyclo cross League at Hempton Common, near Fakenham, sponsored by Hunstanton bike shop Fat Birds Don’t Fly.

There will be races in all categories – from under 12s to veterans – on Tuesday evenings, with riders allowed to use mountain bikes or cyclo cross bikes. First race will be on April 24th.
