Exclusive Planet X

<FONT
SIZE=”2″ FACE=”Arial”>The new Planet X frames that we showed you in prototype form
the other day are coming closer to production. We’ve just recieved these shots direct
from the paint shop where the designs are being finalised before release at Bike
2000.

No one out side of the company has seen these pictures before.

The news is that there will be several different designs of Jack Flash frame this
year – the classic aluminium frame remains, but it will be joined by an Easton RAD
tubed bike, a tubeset that’s used on the Rocky Mountain RM9 DH bike. The headtube
is heavily reinforced, which looks like it’ll take a beating.

Not show in the pictures is the new chromoly steel jump frame that Planet X are making,
which we hear will come in two versions – one with a BMX BB and horizontal dropouts
and one with an MTB BB and vertical dropouts.

We’ll bring you more news as we have it, though we have a set of Planet X cranks
on test right now, which should have their pic and a review on the site shortly.
