Euro hub snub for Shimano

If you’re thinking of buying a Shimano hub geared bike for winter shopping trips or perhaps as a charming present for a pensioner who could bequeath you posthomous cash, then act quickly.SRAM have complained that Shimano are unfairly “dumping” their hub gears into the euro market at significantly less than cost price. After a close and exciting vote (we were certainly up all night), Shimano’s attempt to persuade assorted Europeans that cheap city bike bits were better for everyone’s pollution levels failed by 8 votes to 7.
Prices can therefore be expected to rise by 11% in a few days time when Customs find some time to work out the figures.

That’s pretty much all the news around at the moment and as a telephone wiring discussion is the current highlight of the forum, we’d love to hear from anyone who knows anything more interesting.
