The English Marathon Championships will take place on 28 June, the day after the British MTB Series at the same Crow Hill venue, just outside The New Forest.

The organisers, SMBC, have been building an extended 12.5km marathon course of twisting singletrack through mixed woodland and open meadows. With a few climbs thrown in for fun, this is a course to test every rider. There’s categories for everyone, from a 12.5km fun ride to a full 100km marathon.

The location in the meadows bordering the New Forest make Crow Hill a great place for a weekend away. Hot showers, catering and flush toilets will be available on site all weekend.

The prize list is worth well over £2500, which will be distributed down to 5th place in most categories. The winners will also be taking home a limited edition English Champion Jersey. Prizes have kindly been donated by Torq, Dirtworker and Neoguard.
