Anyone who’s been to Cwmcarn over the last few months will have noticed the impressive-looking downhill course being constructed and probably looking forward to riding it. The official opening was due to be today, but thanks to a minor planning regulation hitch it’s had to be put back for an indeterminate period. Rowan Sorrell, who’s been putting a huge amount of work into the project, tells us that the delay is likely to be at least 4-6 weeks and the course won’t be open to the public until the issue is resolved.
The planned NPS DH round at the end of April won’t be affected, but don’t show up this weekend (or any other) planning to have a spin down the course. As soon as we know when it’ll be open, we’ll let you know, but for now please be patient…
