The ever-vigilant MTB-Wales.com tells us that the MTB trail at Cwmcarn has been closed suddenly due to logging operations. It seems that a slight communication shortfall saw logging contractors start moving equipment into the forest before anyone involved in the trail expected it, hence the sudden closure. Around two-thirds of the trail should be open by Wednesday – there’ll be partial closures for about three months while logging takes place.
