If you’re anywhere near Market Harborough and needing to get out on your bike to work off some of those mince pies, then take a look at the CATS Crackers Christmas Trailquest from the CATS Mountain Bike Club.
It’s described as a “non-competitive cycling orienteering event, open to all riders, of any ability, cycling club members or general public, road or mountain bikes,” which is fairly inclusive. The event will be based around the Welland Valley, north east of Market Harborough with the event headquarters at Great Bowden Village Hall.
Don’t worry about spending hours and hours out in the cold, the event will only be three hours long. The entry fee includes a map, refreshments and commemorative medal for finishers and all profits will go to charity (specifically, the Palliative Care Unit at St Luke’s Hospital, Market Harborough).
More details and an entry form are available on the club’s website.
