Commençal Meta 5.1

We’ve always had a soft spot for Andorran bike brand Commençal. Its bikes have always looked good, ridden well and had a coolly understated style that’s all-too-often absent from continental European brands.

UK distribution has been patchy over recent years, though, with Commençal being picked up and dropped by various distributors, never seeming to have something settled for long enough to make an impact. That ought to change with the announcement that Madison has become the exclusive UK distributor for Commençal.

CEO Max Commençal had the following to say; “Commençal is seeing phenomenal global demand and needs strong international distribution partners to support this growth. Madison has an international reputation as being the number one UK distributor and we only want to be with the best.”

Dealerships are being sorted out even as we speak, with bikes available from June. No word on prices yet, we’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, have a look at the bikes at www.commencal.com.
