Take a turn on a trick-bike, witness unicyclists strut their one-wheeled wonder, watch impressive BMX demos or just bring your bike along for an MOT – just some of the activities taking place at the free Cycling Circus, Barnstaple on 1 May.
There’ll also be a variety of bikes on display, all available for riding, and falling of, including a penny farthing and a mini-bike. There’ll be some considerable talent showing their stuff; from former British Freestyle Competition winner ‘Lucas the one-wheel wonder’, to the Northshore MTB trials team who’ll definitely receive a lot of attention as they defy death with every awe-inspiring trick they pull.
The Circus is being organised by West Country Walks and Ride-on South West cycle hire, and is part of the North Devon and Exmoor Walking and Cycling Festival.
