Lorry driver Darren Greenwood yesterday admitted driving without due care and attention when he crashed into the back of Bruce Bursford on the A47 outside Norwich on February 9th this year.
The court was told that Greenwood was distraced by his mobile phone and that he ‘failed to notice’ Bruce Bursford infront of him. Bursford was killed instantly when Greenwood’s truck ploughed into the back of him.
The case has been adjourned until July 31st for pre-sentence reports.
