This weekend, the official, national BMX Champs bring their
unique brand of action and entertainment to Burnham on Sea BMX Club, Apex Park, Burnham
on Sea, Somerset. Taking place over the three day Bank Holiday weekend (on August
26/27/28th) the championships are an excellent opportunity to enjoy the skills of
some of the world’s leading BMX riders.



Britain’s biggest race of the year has confirmed entries from top riders from all
over the country. Our US based pros will also be making the trip, including the legendary
Dale Holmes, along with Jamie Staff and Neal Wood. The battle to become British champion
in over twenty categories is sure to produce some superb racing and the inevitable
crashes as the best in the sport push themselves to the edge of their ability.



If you’ve never seen BMX racing, give yourself a treat and get down to Burnham-on-Sea
at the weekend and let Cycling’s most photogenic discipline win you over. With thousands
expected, the atmosphere will be superb, as BMX is the friendliest of sports – don’t
miss an event which children and adults will both enjoy.



An additional attraction will be the Floodlit Pro-Am racing on Saturday night, starting
at 8pm.
