For five years David Arthur has been staff writer on bikemagic.com and sister site roadcyclinguk.com. From now on, as editor of bikemagic.com, he will be focused on making the site the must-read online magazine for all mountain bikers.

Having been a regular contributor to bikemagic.com over the years alongside outgoing editor Mike Davis, David is uniquely placed to steer the long-established website forward. As well as keeping the wheels turning, David is keen to bolster regular daily content as well as introduce some exciting new ideas over the coming months.

With mountain biking running through his blood, David has taken part in more off-road events than he cares to remember, and is no stranger to pushing his limits whether it be during a stage race in Wales or road tripping around Scotland seeking out the best trails. While events are a big favourite, he’s happiest on a sinuous strand of sun-dappled, dust-clouded singletrack – anywhere in the UK.

Stepping up as editor of bikemagic.com, David is keen to seize what is an exciting opportunity to push the boundaries of online mountain bike journalism.
