If you’ve ever wanted to own a bike shop then the chances are that there are several things that have stopped you. Most notably suitable premises, an established name, a quality customer base and a good reputation with the trade. Better still an on going liaison with the cycling media that is second to none. Well that’s what Vince Cundle, you know the guy from MBR, has built at the Recycle Bicycle Company shop in Penge, South East London. He’s giving it up and all that he built is up for sale.
Through years of consistent advertising and media exposure Vince has developed a healthy mail order service for new and used mountain bikes and spares; there’s a workshop facility for servicing and repairing suspension forks and rear shocks, disc brakes, wheels and bikes; and much more.
The deal includes all the shop’s fixtures and fittings:
– A fully equipped workshop (workstands and tools)
– A telephone system
– Alarm and shutters
– Counters and displays
|Who’s that guy?|
The current premises feature a large forecourt with loads of parking and bike display space. There is also great potential for expansion to neighbouring premises here in Penge too, all subject to lease negotiation. Also you get the name and logo, any stock that remains (again subject to negotiation) and the good will that comes with 6 years of successful trading.
All you’ll need is bags of enthusiasm and knowledge to get going. So what’s stopping you now?
