Outdoor company Alpkit has today announced the Big Shakeout on 14/15/16 October, an adventure festival in the heart of the Peak District combines inspiration and perspiration over a diverse range of courses and experiences.

The festival centres on the School of Adventure, which will see people able to take part in a mountain bike specific courses and experiences. From skills training with Ex Oxley to a session with Campbell Coaching to a photography lesion with Benji Haworth, there’s something for everyone.

Other activities include expert advice from Alpkit aimed at bike packing and cooking set ups for mammoth multi-day trips, and bike maintenance sessions to fine tune your steed with 18 Bikes.

And just confirmed, Aidan Harding will be sharing his experience as a veteran off-road adventure cyclist with the Tour Divide and 1100 mile Iditarod Trail International under his belt through stories and anecdotes.
