And just like that, a tweet went out this morning alerting us that the entries for 2012’s 24 Hours of Exposure event were now being taken.
Making it’s third outing in 2012, “24 Hours of Exposure” and “12 Hours of Exposure” are the UK’s first and only 24 hour and 12 hour mountain bike endurance races for solo riders only.
The event is open to competent riders new to 24 and 12 hour racing as well as experienced endurance racers of all nationalities with a whole host of championship titles, prizes, spot prizes and rookie awards up for grabs.
Entry costs £65 for the 24-hour race and £45 for the 12-hour. The price includes ace entry, free camping, trackside light charging from sponsors Exposure Lights, free lubing and bikewash by Juice Lubes during the race, Chamois Cream from Juice Lubes (self-application required!), bottle of Juice Lube, energy drink, neutral technical support for all riders, free tea, coffee and boiling water for riders and goody bag.
