Entries are open for the Wiggle Enduro 6 on Sunday May 6 2012 – the highlight of a weekend which also include a night time trial and a 10km running race.
The Wiggle Enduro 6 is open to pairs or individuals, who will race over a six-mile course and aim to complete as many laps as possible within six hours.
The race is a ‘Parc Ferme’ event, meaning each rider or team has to have all their kit within a secure area before the race begins and nothing can be added once the event is underway, making sound preparation essential.
But before all that, the Wiggle Run 10K takes place on the Saturday over a rolling course, followed by the night mountain bike time trial over one lap of the following day’s enduro course.
“We always, always strive to offer first-class sporting events that are focused on meeting the needsof the competitor – it’s our way of making sure that the events can be enjoyed by people of all agesand all abilities,” said Patrick Adam of Pro Velo Support, who are organising the weekend.
“It’s brilliant to be working with Wiggle again too – the Wiggle Enduro 6 weekend 2012 is going to be incredible.”
Entry costs £8 for the time trial, while the enduro costs £38 and £46 for individuals and pairs respectively.
