The route for the 2012 Cape Epic has been revealed, covering 781km and with 16,300m of climbing across eight days.
Next year’s race will run from March 25 to April 1, starting with a 27km time trial. Stage three will be the longest day in the saddle, with riders covering 147km and tackling 2,900m of ascent.
The ninth edition of the Cape Epic will lead 1,200 riders through vast distances of virgin territory, previously untouched by the race.
Lourensford Wine Estate will host the finish for the seventh year, with the winner crowned after 64km of riding.
