It was a damp and slippery end to the Southern XC race series this year, where Whyte Bikes Billy Whenman taking the win
A great new course at Pippingford was made ultra hard by heavy rain during the morning Vets races and made the Elite race a real battle in the afternoon. Still Billy Whenman (Whyte Bikes) and Lee Williams (Wiggle) made it a great race over five laps with Billy just taking it. Steve James cruised home in third to take the series win.
