Former world and Olympic champion Bart Brentjens claimed stage seven of the Croc Trophy to register his third win of the 2010 race.

The Dutch rider edged out Urs Huber and Philipp Ludescher in a sprint finish after the 157km route from Mt. Mulgrave to Laura.

Brentjens clocked 4:53.56 hours, while Huber remains in control of the overall classification with a four minute, 22 second advantage over Brentjens.

“I kicked off the sprint a little bit too early and was quite tired also from the strong headwind and from riding ahead of the group for quite a while,” said Brentjens.
