One of our favourite enduros from last year, the Dyfi takes you on a 60km rollercoaster ride around Machynlleth, West Wales. The enduro, on 7 May, is renowned for its challenging course. The format is simple: fire roads for the ascents and awesomely loose rocky singletrack for the downy bits.
The course will be tweaked a bit from last year to increase the quota of singletrack. There’ll be spot prizes, plus the first 400 entrants will get a custom Dyfi Enduro mug. As with most enduros, there’ll be a feed station at half distance, and a cut-off point for struggling riders. Our top tip is to take plenty of spare tubes, or better still, go tubeless with latex – the flint rock that covers local area is notorious for slicing through tyres.
Entry forms are available now.
