Adjustable-height seatposts have been popular for the last couple of years especially on all-mountain bikes where the ability to drop the saddle a few inches out of the way can be a real boost on technical trails and drops.
RockShox has decided to throw its own adjustable-height post into the fray, with the Reverb. It offers 125mm (4.92in) of adjustment via a hydraulically activated remote handlebar lever, and the return speed is adjustable at the remote. To ensure longevity there’s a ‘triple-lipped energised’ sealing system to prevent dirt ingress.
The post is made from 7050 forged alloy with a zero offset 3D forged 7050 alloy head. 380mm and 420mm lengths 30.9mm and 31.6mm diameter options will be available. RockShox report a weight of 515g for a 380mm 30.9mm item.
