Sidi Sport has unveiled its new range of boots, overshoes, socks and gloves for winter 2011.
The Italian manufacturer’s Diablogore and Hydrogore boots are ideal for those two-wheeled bravehearts who stop at nothing for a ride.
Both models are lined with Gore Tex to keep out the worst of the snow and rain, while the Velcro straps reduce infiltration of cold air and humidity.
The Diablogore, which retails at 238 euros (£203), is idea for off-road and tackling the trails in the harshest conditions, while the Hydrogore (235 euros/£201) is designed for use on road. Both are available in black with red inserts.
But top-quality shoes should still be accompanied by weatherproof socks, with Sidi’s premium fare, available in black or grey, elasticised and produced in Thermolite, a light, breathable, fast-drying material that can supply heat and comfort without additional weight, even when wet.
Foot protection is complete with Sidi’s thermal overshoes (48 euros/£41) which add the final shield of foot protection.
For sub-zero conditions, Sidi also offer Polar winter gloves; warm and light with thermally-sealed stitching and a no-slip palm to improve grip on the handlebars. Available in all black or black/white.
