Mammut have unveiled a new range of base layers made from Polartec’s Power Dry breathable fabric.

“Polartec Power Dry fabric has a patented bi-component construction which ensures superior wicking action and keeps your skin dry when you sweat,” according to the product blurb.

The Aegility (£50) and Active (£55) range for men, and the Aelectra (£40-50) range for women, have been tailored to create a tighter, more athletic cut, while elastic inserts aim to ensure you don’t feel restricted.

The base layers are antimicrobial, helping to eradicate unpleasant odours, while flat-lock stitching ensures a comfortable fit and the fabric also has sun protection (UPF 15) built in.
