This close fitting plain jersey uses high wicking fabric and strips away the moisture well, its cut like a regular jersey and has the pockets and half zip allowing you to wear it as one. We found it particularly good however as a base layer for use with breathable jackets and shells, the close cut under the arms that makes it feel strange on its own was perfect for fitting under other layers and wicking sweat away from a particularly warm place.

Reflective logos show off the brand name with better effect than lighting you up to a car 100ft away but are a nice touch. Also a nice touch is the smaller fourth jersey pocket for smaller items like an energy bar or a road tube but don’t leave your car/house keys in there thinking they can’t fall out.

A close fitting jersey, excellent as a base layer and useful on its own. Make sure you try for size however as the cut round the arms is very close and might not suit those with bigger chests or upper arms. Price is reasonable.
