With spring rapidly approaching (no, really, it is), it’s time to unleash an all-new Bikemagic jersey on the world. Much as we liked the, um, “distinctive” colours of the old one, we’d be the first to admit that it wasn’t perhaps the most practical design the world has ever seen. So for 2006 we’re going for something a little more subtle and a little more in keeping with the site itself. And no, that doesn’t mean that all the jerseys will be rectangular with adverts down the sides.

The finished garments will be available in a few weeks, but here’s a sneak preview. We’re doing two styles, a conventional race-style jersey (short sleeves, rear pockets, half-length zip) and a more relaxed freeridey one (long sleeves, crew neck, looser fit). Both will be £35 each and we’re doing sizes from M to XXXL. We’ll let you know what physical dimensions those letters actually represent when we start taking orders.

We’ve also got grand plans to start a Bikemagic MTB club – more on that later in the year…
