As we reported recently, the new Double is “designed for styling and slamming slopestyle parks” and we’ve just been sent some images of the four bright colours it’ll be available in.

To recap, Transition Bikes says of the new Double: “It is no surprise why short travel suspension bikes are so popular since they are probably the most fun bikes to ride. They give you that feeling of being on a hardtail but with enough suspension to smooth things out and let you preload jumps like on your big bike. For the new Double we added some features in our quest to create the cleanest most solid short travel full suspension bike on the market.”

The Double is made from a custom formed tubeset designed around a tapered headtube with internal tube gusseting to keep things stiff while ensuring smooth clean lines, as befits a ‘design goal’ for smooth edges.

A new rocker link now has chamfered edges and an ‘adjustment chip’ makes for easy travel adjustment between 80mm and 100mm travel. Cable routing is internal.
