We reported on the new Santa Cruz V-10 Carbon, unveiled at the Eurobike trade show recently, but at the time Santa Cruz UK didn’t have a firm idea on the price. They do now.
Frame only has been confirmed as £2899, which includes a RockShox Vivid coil shock and Cane Creek Angle-Set Headset system. If you want to upgrade the shock to a Fox DHX RC4, that’ll cost you £200, while a RockShox’x Vivid Air will be £270 extra.
If you prefer your new V-10 ready to ride, complete bikes will start from £5199. As we mentioned before, the first 100 production frames will be built up in full Syndicate guise, from the graphics to the components. One of these will set you back £7499 – just 15 will make their way over to the UK.
As for colours, once the Syndicate replica bikes are gone, the choice will be (most likely say Santa Cruz UK, they haven’t been finalised yet) white or black. There’ll be a full size range from S to XL – note that the current Large size has replaced the current XL and a new, smaller Large size been introduced. This is because the carbon V-10 has been made a bit longer than the current (and outgoing) aluminium version.
Stock frames, and complete bikes will be available Feb/March 2011. Syndicate Replica bikes will be available first in December 2010 (except the Large size which will be Feb/March ’11). Santa Cruz UK dealers are now taking pre orders for these bikes.
