Giant has made its Anthem more affordable with the introduction of a £1400 model, the Anthem X5.
Announced today, the Anthem X5 uses the same AluxX SL Fluid Formed frame found throughout the rest of the range with an OverDrive tapered headtube and 100mm (4in) of travel from the Maestro suspension platform.
Despite the new lower price the spec looks good. RockShox supply both shocks, the RockShox Monarch R rear and the RockShox Recon Gold TK Solo Air fork. Components include Shimano Alivio and Deore components with Shimano M445 hydraulic disc brakes.
Wheels comprise Formula hubs with Giant S-XC2 DW aluminium rims and Maxxis Crossmark 2.1in tyres. Giant Connect branded handlebars, stem, seatpost and saddle finish things off.
