The New Year sees a new manufacturer arrive in the UK after two years technical development and testing in Italy under the direction of road pro Danilo De Luca.
Classics specialist De Luca, banned for nine months after testing positive for CERA in May 2009, has launched the Kyklos range, to be distributed in the UK by Veroli.
Kyklos’ two mountain bikes will be unveiled at EuroBike 2011 at Freidrichshafen, Germany in August/September.
The Hardtail Stone weighs in at just 1120g while the Flex Full Suspension is 1750g.
Three carbon fibre road bikes, with an integrated seat post and BB30, are also being released – the 890g Featherweight Limited (£2900) and 960g Featherweight (£2700) come with internal cable routing and a tapered head tube, while the 1030g Feather (£1760) completes the range.
