In a small gallery space last week in London’s Brick Lane, Hotlines put on a show to display its vast range of brands, including the latest products from WTB.
WTB have added the Bronson tyre. It’s a brand new tread pattern but with an unmistakeable WTB style, the widely spaced blocks designed for when you want a fast rolling tyre on a mix of dry hard pack to mud conditions. Square side knobs hook up with plenty of cornering grip.
There’s a 2.1in and 2.3in and both are available in regular folding or, now available right across the WTB tyre range, Tubeless Compatible System (TCS). This is WTB’s guarantee that its tyres will seat easily and correctly when used with appropriate TCS rims.
Talking of wheels, WTB have added a couple of new hoops to its catalogue. At the top-end is the new Stryker TCS Cross Country, a 1.46kg wheelset using American Classic-sourced hubs, welded XC TCS 28-hole rims and Aero 1420 aero spokes with alloy nipples.
The Stryker TCS will cost £399.99 for the rear and £299.99 for the front.
Meanwhile, the new Speed TCS Cross Country wheels look every bit as sharp as their more expensive offerings. These 2kg wheels use 32-hole 19mm aluminium rims, brass nipples a Black 14 spokes. They will cost £134.99 rear and £119.99 front.
A 29in version of both wheelsets is available.
