Upgrade Bikes have become the exclusive UK distributor for X-Fusion shocks and forks, the company has this week announced.
X-Fusion shocks, established in 1999, are popular original equipment choices for many brands including Specialized, Cube, Cannondale and Ghost, carving a good reputation for build quality and reliability. Following this X-Fusion is planning to become a choice in the aftermarket, offering high quality and good value, the company hopes to “offer a real alternative in the suspension market for performance seeking riders.”
Upgrade’s Damian Mason says: “X-Fusion is an excellent range of product that complements very well our frame offerings from DMR and Kinesis. We are really excited about working together with the X-fusion team going forward. They have a strong US based R&D centre with product manufactured to world class standards in their own Taiwan facility.”
Upgrade is setting up the UK service centre for all X-Fusion products, taking over from the previous European service centre in Germany who are training Upgrade’s mechanics in every aspect of the products. Upgrade will carry a full line of spares and tools and offer a fast turn-around service.
Highlights from the 2011 range includes the new HILO adjustable height seatpost. It’s available in 27.2mm, 30.9mm and 31.6mm sizes and costs £199.99. A new range of forks is also on the cards, with prices starting at £299 for the Enix and rising to £649.99 for the 160mm Vengeance fork.
