RockShox have announced a new addition to the downhill BoXXer family – the World Cup Keronite.
At just 2.689kg it is the lightest downhill racing fork on the market, thanks to the exclusive Keronite finish applied to the fork lowers. This shaves more than 30g off the weight and eliminates paint weight variation.
The finish is commonly used in the aerospace industry as a coating to protect the landing gear of airplanes to protect against impacts and damages while landing at nearly 180mph.
Re-valved MissionControl DH damping has created a fork that is now more responsive on small bumps, while new adjustment knob shapes made for tool-free tuning. The rider can easily tune the compression for the high-speed mode (in 18 clicks) and for the low-speed adjustment (14 clicks).
An updated Solo Air spring and Maxle Lite DH complete the package. The RockShox BoXXer World Cup Keronite will be available from May. Price TBC.
