For 2010 Marzocchi is on a mission to totally revamp its entire suspension fork range, and over the past few weeks has been leaking out snippets of information to us.
Today we can tell you about to the company’s entry level trail fork, the Marzocchi 44 RLO and the 160mm travel 55 RV. The former is a direct replacement for the MX series, and offers up 100mm or 120mm travel adjustable to 80mm and 140mm by swapping a few spacers inside the fork.
Also inside there’s a new rebound and lock-out cartridge, an open bath air spring, 32mm alloy stanchions and an alloy steerer giving a competitive weight of just 2160g. It’ll cost you £229.95.
Meanwhile, the 160mm 55 RV gets 35mm alloy stanchions and steerer tube, Marzocchi’s new easy to use 2010 QR20 system and open bath adjustable rebound damper with a coil spring. Marzocchi describe this as the 2010 incarnation of the Z1 Drop Off fork. The 55 RV costs £349.95.
Both forks will be available at the end of September. Find out more at www.marzocchi.com or from UK importers Windwave.
