Bike bits to stop slender gender getting tender

The Juli Furtado-led Wylder women’s bike company have expanded their range just in time for Christmas.

The company have improved the already extremely popular Tangor and Tangor Ti saddles with the additions of Kevlar edges, textured leather and improved shape.

Wylder have also introduced a new slimmer line saddle for road or XC use, the Callisto (rrp £59.99), along with a budget recreational vinyl saddle, the Delage (rrp £34.99).

To keep smaller female fingers from aching on long descents, Wylder have also brought out a new MTB brake lever. The Angelica, will retail at £34.99 with a shorter reach and on-the-fly adjustment.

For ladies of the road STI shims (rrp £14.00) will adjust the previously fixed position of levers on drop handlebars. Those after the ultimate tarmac tool are advised to pay close attention to the ‘Queen of the Road’ women’s road frame. Handbuilt in titanium this ‘femmetry’ configured frameset will feature 650cc wheels on the 3 smallest sizes (40, 45 & 48cm) for the regal sum of £1800.

All these crackers and baubles should be available around Christmas, and appropriately you’ll find more details on the full Wylder range and full UK pricing and dealer listings on Santa’s own website www.santacruzbikes.com. A new clothing line, tailored for women’s shapes and sizes, will also be available Spring 2002.
