Thule have unveiled four limited edition bicycle racks designed by the Thule Adventure Team.

The team, who compete in some of the hardest, most extreme adventure racing and multi-sport competitions in the world, was given a free hand, together with Thule’s designers and creators, when asked to develop a special edition of their favourite products.

The results are two roof-mounted and two towbar-mounted bicycle racks, available in selected stores from March 2012.

The Proway and Propower are towbar-mounted racks based on the existing Euroway G2 and Europower products respectively, while the roof-mounted Cross and Race racks are based on the ProRide and OutRide.

“The Thule Adventure Team compete internationally and have great knowledge in their sports and the products they use to transport their gear to races,” said Thule’s UK general manager Peter Barker.

“The limited edition bicycle carriers have all Thule’s safety and high specification detail coupled with modifications made by the knowledgeable team including their characteristic green.”
