G-Form body protection to be launched at Cycle Show

G-Form body protection is coming to the UK and will be launched at this week’s Cycle Show in Birmingham after the company signed an exclusive distribution deal with Todays Cyclist.

G-Form’s Reaction Protective Technology (RPT) absorbs more than 90 per cent of the energy from high-speed impact, according to the manufacturer.

RPT pads can be worn over or under clothing and have self wicking properties. Hinging and moulding gives mountain bikers freedom and flexibility while riding.

The G-Form knee and elbow pads move with the joint creating a dynamic fit, until impact, when they stiffen to absorb the energy. The pads go back to their flexible state immediately after impact. The G-Form shin offers nearly complete shin protection in a comfortable one-piece sleeve around your leg. The pads retails at £39.99 each and are available in sizes S-XXL.

Todays Cyclist accessories director Dale Smith said: “When we originally saw these, what caught my eye was their unique construction and look and the fact the material remains flexible and comfortable, until it is hit. Once impacted the material reacts almost instantly, able to absorb up to 90 per cent of the impact.”

G-Form director Sean Veck added: “Our exclusive agreement with one of the largest and most respected cycling distributors in the UK, Todays Cyclist, will see the range available in many cycle shops throughout the UK and Ireland.”
