German outdoor brand Vaude has just sent us info about its latest mountain bike items to hit shop shelves soon.
Better known for making camping gear and mountain climbing equipment, Vaude actually has a rather nice range of bike friendly garments. With its new ‘All Mountain Collection’ it expands its range with a new hydration pack and baggy shorts. Here’s a look at them.
Tail Pants
The Tail Pants are the highlight of the collection, and boast versatility as well as high tech construction. A fully adjustable waistband and wide stretch inserts at the inner legs and back of the waistband ensure a good fit and freedom of movement. Mesh lined ventilation slits at the thighs ensure excellent cooling on strenuous tours, and the padded liner can be removed.
Tracer pack
Vaude is very well known for its backpacks and the new All Mountain backpack should tick all the mountain biking boxes. At its core is a novel Ergo-Vent suspension system, two air permeable foam elements support the pack either side of the spine creating a central channel to boost ventilation. An adjustable hip belt further enhances the good fit.
The Tracer pack is available in four different sizes, offering carrying capacities from 12 to 28 liters. A large helmet and all-purpose attachment at the front compartment allow for fast access. Underneath is a large tool compartment with built-in organizer. A separate compartment for hydration system, an integrated rain cover and an easy-access main compartment make the Tracer backpack line a prime candidate for all challenging and tough MTB tours.
