Digital mapping specialist Memory-Map has launched a new handheld GPS device, the Adventurer 2800.
The Adventurer 2800 comes with preloaded Ordnance Survey Landranger Maps and is designed specifically for outdoor use by offering an easy to use touch screen, real time positioning in wooded or built-up areas.
The Adventurer 2800 is also fully compatible with Memory-Map’s PC software which means users with existing Memory-Map V5 products on their PC can also download any of their maps to use in the Adventurer 2800. It’s described as weatherproof, lightweight (135g) and rugged enough for outdoor use with a high resolution screen.
