Fox has added a couple of new products to its 2011 range, some of which we brought to your attention last year, but there’s some other bits that have only just been revealed.
First up are the new Unabomber gloves – previously review on Bikemagic – which have been updated with ‘hydro management nano-technology’ which in layman’s terms means they’re now more water resistant then previously. As well as better resisting the rain, the gloves debut the company’s new Poron XRD Extreme Impact Protection. This works like d30, an intelligent foam that is soft and flexible during normal use but becomes stiff and protection during an impact.
This same Poron XRD material is also found in the new Ballistic knee and arms pads, and the Stealth Bomber gloves.
Another new addition is the Freeride Aircool jersey. Fox’s proprietary Air-Cool fabric offers “accelerated moisture wicking” by using a combination of raised dobby polyester and Q4 Quad Stretch fabric, promoting airflow and rider comfort.
