OK, it was due out on the 14th and it’s been running a little late. But you can’t rush these things out the door and we think the end result is worth it.
Shred #39 is the product of our travels, trials and tribulations over the past three months. A wave of new support from within the industry has allowed us to fatten her up a little and with the season well and truly under way there was no shortage of stuff to cram in.
Here’s the lowdown:
Cover Feature – Girls, Girls, Girls
We talk to two female riders. Sabine Spitz is the german Team Specialized rider who’s been practically reserved a spot on the podium of races from her homeland to the Olympics. And Nikki Harris is a rising star in British cycling who’s shown that she can kick some ass on the dirt, on the road and on the track – not many riders in the UK can boast that one.
A long way from summer
Last year we ran a feature on Carl Hutchings – a man on a mission to ride the Iditarod. He took part but mullered himself in the process. This year he went back to grab the bull by the horns and managed to wrestle it to the ground.
