Keswick Mountain Bikes is hosting a weekend of “trails, tales, bikes, beer and BBQ” this weekend, 8/9 July. The attractions are many, although we expect that the extensive fleet of demo bikes available to ride on Proper Lakeland Terrain™ will be chief amongst them.

Various manufacturers will be on hand with their respective vanloads of demo bikes, including Marin (Mount Vision, Wolf Ridge, Nail Trail); Commencal (Meta 4, Meta 5, Supreme 6, Combi disc, Absolute) and Kona (Kikapu, Dawg, Stinky, Caldera, Unit). Plus there’s KMB’s own demo fleet which, as well as relatively mainstream stuff from Specialized, Trek and Cannondale also features such exotica as Nicolai’s Helius CC, Yeti’s 575 and a Foes FXR. Should be something to tickle most fancies there…

It’s not just riding, though. KMB will be hosting “Funky Friday” at Keswick’s Labour Club on Friday night so you can tire yourself out dancing before even hitting the trails. Saturday’s apres-ride entertainment will include a slide show of some of the best riding locations in the world from KE Adventure Travel, followed by BBQ, beer and music at KMB’s demo centre. And then more riding on Sunday.
