We like to think that this here Bikemagic thing is an accessible sort of place, with plenty of opportunities for members to interact (or argue, as they prefer), buy and sell things, send us articles, post pictures and all the rest of it. One thing that the briefest of glances into the forum will show, though, is that some of us do like to go on a bit.
Well, we’ve introduced a new feature on the site that’s designed expressly for the going on a bit in, if that makes any sense at all. Bikemagic Blogs are a little bit like the forum, except that it’s one way – you say what you think, and if anyone disagrees they’ll have to disagree somewhere else. Like, perhaps, in their own blog…
The blogs have some useful, um, uses too, of course. They’re a handy way to keep track of where, when and how far you’ve ridden, for example. Or use them to jot down when you replace bits and bobs so you can see how long they’ve lasted. Share your thoughts on new components, bikes, trails or whatever until you’ve made up your mind about them, and then post a review. The possibilities probably aren’t actually endless, but we can’t see the end of them from here even if we stand on a chair. And typing while standing on a chair isn’t a great idea, so we’ll get down now.
Have a go, see what you think – the Blogs page is at http://www.bikemagic.com/blogs/blogs.asp. We’re hoping to see the emergence of some good stuff from you all…
