You might not think that this time of year lends itself to the purchase of short-sleeved jerseys, but we beg to differ for a couple of reasons. First, it’s still remarkably warm on occasions. Second, the speed-enhancing and talent-infusing properties of a smart blue Bikemagic jersey are in no way diminished by the onset of autumn (we expect). Third, and perhaps most compellingly, they’re now cheaper to the tune of £10 – just £29.99 will now get you tastefully garbed. Bargain!
We have two styles. First is your classic race-style top – zip front, three pockets round the back, close-ish fit – and the more relaxed, we might almost say freeridey, style – crew neck, no zip, single zipped pocket on the back, loose fit.
Both styles are available in six sizes, intriguingly called 2 to 7 or Small to XXXL if you prefer. To help you decide which you need we’ve got a handy sizing guide.
Even at the original price of £39.99 including postage these were something of a bargain, so at a penny under thirty quid we’re well into the realms of “a steal” here. You have to be a Bikemagic member to buy one – if you’re not a member, please register (it’s free and only takes a couple of minutes). If you are a member, make sure you’re logged on and head for the BM boutique…

Sizing
Always a tricky one, this. Here’s the official sizing table – the numbers are the stated sizes, the words are the meaningful names and the measurement in inches is the chest size range that ought to fit:
2 | Small | 36-37in |
3 | Medium | 38-40in |
4 | Large | 41-42in |
5 | XL | 43-44in |
6 | XXL | 46-48in |
7 | XXXL | 50-52in |
Remember that the freeride jersey is a considerably looser fit – to give you an idea of the difference, we put Dave inside each of them and took a picture. We cropped his face out for the sake of readers of a nervous disposition.
