This weekend will see the Enduro World Series circus settle itself in the Alpine resort of Les Deux Alpes. The French town is to host the week-long Crankworx Europe festival and is not only the first of the events but also one of the most significant.
Last weekend’s Val d’Allos race was won by none other than Nicolas Vouilloz, 10 time World Champion and a true analyst when it comes to bike set up and race course know-how. With very little practice available in the French enduro format, Vouilloz showed that his approach to racing can translate into enduro. Tracy Moseley, also a hugely successful downhill racer having won World Championships and the World Cup overall previously, won the women’s category last week and of course so too at the opening round in Punta Ala, Italy. Will the competition be able to near or better her outstanding performances this weekend?
