Amazing stuff in the world of mountain bike racing this weekend! First Rachel Atherton makes it three from three in the Vallnord World Cup DH (also making her the ‘winningest’ British downhill racer in World Cup history), France’s Remi Thirion takes a historic first World Cup victory in the men’s category, and now Jerome Clementz takes his second Enduro World Series win in a row.
Clementz is showing that his riding and knowledge of the discipline of enduro is a level above even the likes of 10 time World Champion Nicolas Vouilloz, who has nipped at Clementz’s heels at the last two races but has not managed to rival the ‘Little guy who ride bike and love life’.
Tracy Moseley is another who seems untouchable in the discipline. Having won everything there is to win in downhill, T-MO has taken to enduro racing like a duck to the pond… She’s won every Enduro World Series race this year and even with the great Anne-Caroline Chausson back to form after her crash in round one, no one could match Tracy’s pace in Colorado. Another day, another win. Well done Tracy.
