It might be a long drive for most of us, but the riding around Fort William, the host for last weekend’s downhill world cup, is up there with the very best on offer in the UK.
This video below shows Alastair MacLennan guiding us around some of the highlights. And it looks good.
He describes the area as “one giant playground.” One of the best trails he reckons is Blue Crane, one of the oldest trails in the area. Its “natural feel features big jagged rocks before moving onto softer loamy soil and finishes with rocky quarry stuff,” Alastair tells us.
