Entries are open for the Hit the North enduro in North Manchester on 17 July, and the organisers tell us that places are limited (so don’t hang around if you want to get a ride in this event).
The 8-hour enduro takes place on a 6 mile course of mixed terrain, and organisers will be using electronic timing with a free wireless network beaming live position data around the venue all day.
Camping is free on the Saturday evening if you want to chill out after the racing, and there’ll be catering, trade stands and a beer tent.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to local charities. More information and online entry at www.hitthenorth.net
