Trail Break’s summer season continues this month with the Ridgeway 100 Enduro headlining day one of the Great Swindon Bike Ride on June 19th.
The event features a choice of superb 100k or 60k enduro routes through Englands most ancient landscape, across the Ridgeway, Marlboro Downs and Lambourn Valley. Trail Break’s ever popular Trail Rides will be taking place right on the same course too, offering shorter distances for those wanting a quicker blast.
The event is supported by the Nationwide building society, and is based at their national headquarters on the south edge of Swindon. From here, it’s just a few short minutes spin before you leave any sign of the town behind you and find yourself climbing into the hills for a day in the good stuff. Whyte Bikes and Marin have lent their support to the ride too and will be on site showcasing their latest ranges, while local club MB Swindon will be showing off their handiwork on the Croft Trail, a manmade trail right on the event site that features in the start and finish of the full rides.
The routes themselves have been created with the help of the local experts at Red Planet Bikes and feature the cream of the trails across this open, sweeping landscape. If a day of big sky, summer riding sounds like your dish, you can book up now at trailbreak.co.uk, or call 0118 988 6041 for details.
