Following the launch of its first ever mountain biking shoe, the Links, Teva is getting deeper into the sport by showing its support with the signing of another freerider star to its books, this time the UK’s Sam Pilgrim.
Pilgrim, originally from Colchester, has broken onto the freeride scene in the last two years taking the highest podium spot in 2011 at Vienna Air King, Monster Energy White Style, and he was the first European to make it onto the final Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour podium, taking victory at the season’s final event, the Red Bull District Ride.
“I’ve been watching the Teva Mountain Games since I started riding so I’m stoked to now be a part of the team,” says Pilgrim. “I’m looking forward to working with a brand that I have a great connection with and one that is so supportive of the sport and the community that surrounds it through events like the Teva Mountain Games and Crankworx.”
